Our key for excellence wines has always been listening to Vipava nature and following the life cycle which constantly surprises us. ​This is our only guide, our only path in which we believe. Our day begins before Vipava Valley wakes up in the sunny and bora "aerated" morning. ​Shadows of twilight see our work and awareness that every day is priceless for maturation of our wines and ourselves. Povh is part of us and our family tradition. It is the strength of estate and virtue of cellar. So our wine is not only empty, clear liquid, but the wealth of scents and flavors, which combine nature and the ideas of our people. ​Since 1935 when the Povh family planted their first vines on hills above Vipava valley, our long tradition of wine making began. It’s modern form sprung to life in 1985 when our father Stanko took over the family vineyards and began paving the way towards brand recognition and highest quality wine of geographic origin. ​ We are most proud of our Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Yellow Muscat and Viapva’s autochthonous Zelen wines. Since 2016 we are also members of the European Agri-Environment-Climate Programme.​ Povh wines are distinguished by knowledge, tradition, quality and partnership with nature.
